NOTE THE SIZE OF SHEETS TODAY WHEN BUYING: All our metal mosaics are designed to get as close as we can to an entire square foot so the sheet is as close as possible a square foot. In some cases exceeding it like the 2.5" x 0.75" brick. When we realized the industry was making smaller mosaics to get a better online price point we felt very strongly this was wrong. It should be the manufacturer that adds another row. That works it out so the consumer gets the best possible value. For large companies removing a row or column will impact their margins. So they do it. For our company our interest is not in the margin but trying to ensure a ethical responsible stainless steel mosaic collection is created.
Add the number of rows and pieces. If we are selling a 2.75" x 0.75" piece of metal on a mosaic and it has five columns by fourteen rows that is (5x14) and equals seventy pieces. Most will remove a row and a column. In our opinion if the online company is not showing a Architectural specification drawing or sheet it is because they do not want you to do that math. Just something to consider, always compare "Apples to Apples" as they say.
